In the Jacobson Sinai Academy Elementary School Division, our professional and dedicated staff guides students to achieve the highest levels of ethical as well as academic excellence. Our students understand that excellence demands character and integrity. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum challenges each student to stretch intellectually. The degree of that stretch depends on the uniqueness of each child. Our goal is to foster the creativity and stimulate the intellect of each child. The curriculum integrates the secular subjects with the rich heritage of Judaism. Classes include: English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Computers, Art, Music, Library Science, Physical Education, Hebrew Language, Jewish History, Bible, Holidays and Israel. Students in Elementary School have the opportunity to learn about the religious, historical and cultural significance of Jewish holidays, prayers and rituals. Students gather in the Feinbloom Sanctuary for an upbeat Kabbalat Shabbat celebration. Torah curriculum is integrated into the secular program, helping our students connect Judaism to every aspect of their lives. As part of the Garfinkle Center for Jewish Values, students are encouraged to create and participate in community service programs, enabling them to accept responsibility and develop a healthy respect for the diversity and background of others.
