Teen years are a time of growth, curiosity, and finding your place. At Temple Sinai, our teen programs are designed to help teens connect, to friends, to community, and to Jewish life, in ways that feel authentic, empowering, and fun.
Whether your teen is looking to lead, give back, sing, socialize, or simply belong, there’s a place for them here. Our teen engagement opportunities support personal growth, build lifelong friendships, and encourage teens to discover who they are and what matters to them.
BBYO at Temple Sinai
BBYO at Temple Sinai brings Jewish teens together through friendship, leadership, service, and fun. Meeting every other week on Thursday evenings, teens connect in an inclusive, welcoming space while building confidence, community, and lifelong friendships.
As part of the global BBYO movement, participants gain access to meaningful programs, leadership opportunities, social events, and experiences that help them grow and belong.
Teen Mitzvah Corp
Teen Mitzvah Corps is for teens who want to make a difference. Open to students in 8th–12th grade, this dedicated group focuses on service, compassion, and hands-on community impact. Each month, teens identify a need in the community and take action together, learning the power of responsibility, empathy, and leadership.
In addition to meaningful service, participants earn community service hours and build experiences that reflect strong values and civic engagement — skills that matter both now and in the future. Teen Mitzvah Corps empowers teens to turn Jewish values into real-world action.
Choir at Temple Sinai
For teens who love music, or want to explore it, Teen Choir offers a meaningful and creative way to connect through song. Open to middle and high school students, Teen Choir provides a supportive space to sing, learn, and grow alongside peers who share a love of music.
Under the guidance of our clergy and music leadership, teens build confidence, strengthen musical skills, and experience the joy of contributing their voices to the life of the congregation. Whether you’re an experienced singer or just discovering your voice, Teen Choir welcomes you.
Is your child not yet in middle school? There are opportunities for our youngest singers as well!
