Early Childhood

The journey begins with warmth, care, and discovery—supporting both children and their families in these foundational years.

Giggle & Grow (12–18 months)
Welcoming our youngest learners at Temple Sinai, Giggle & Grow introduces children ages 12–18 months to sensory exploration stations, music and movement, arts and crafts, and gross motor activities. A gentle introduction to community through music, movement, and sensory play for toddlers and their caregivers. The program creates a welcoming space for early social development while strengthening the bond between parent and child. It also serves as a meaningful first entry point into the Sinai community for young families.

Gan Sinai (18 months–5 years)
A Jewish, child-centered, play-based, and family-focused preschool in a nature-rich environment, Gan Sinai gives children a safe and loving place to play, grow, and learn. Classrooms are designed to support social-emotional growth, independence, and curiosity in a safe and engaging environment. Children develop foundational skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond while feeling deeply supported.

Camp Sinai (18 months–2nd grade)
School’s out. Adventure’s in. Camp Sinai offers caring counselors and summer fun in a safe and nurturing environment children already know and love, with field trips, water fun, outdoor play, swimming, art, cooking, music, yoga, nature, sports, and more. The program balances structured experiences with free exploration, allowing each child to engage at their own pace. It encourages confidence, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.

Vacation Camps (18 months–5th grade)
Vacation Camps at Temple Sinai are an opportunity for kids between 18 months and 5th grade to come together, play with friends, and enjoy an amazing break even when schools are closed. Seasonal camps offered during school breaks that provide a consistent, enriching environment for children throughout the year. Each session includes themed activities, creative projects, and opportunities for social connection. Children remain engaged, active, and connected to the Sinai community even when school is not in session.

Elementary Years

Sinai Learning Lab (K–5th grade)
Sinai Learning Lab is redefining Jewish education through self-led, multi-age, and collaborative learning. Drawing from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Acton Academy influences, the program weaves Jewish learning into literacy, math, science, social studies, Judaics, Hebrew, hands-on projects, and real-world exploration. Students are encouraged to think critically, explore new ideas, and engage in hands-on experiences that make learning meaningful. The environment fosters confidence, curiosity, and a love of discovery.

Club Sinai After School (K–5th grade)
Club Sinai provides premium after-school care and experiential Jewish education two, three, four, or five days a week from 2pm–6pm for kindergarten through 5th graders. A structured and supportive after-school program designed to meet the needs of both children and families. Students receive homework assistance, participate in enrichment activities, and have time to relax and connect with friends. The program creates a balanced end to the school day in a safe and familiar environment.

Jewish Learning & Milestones

This stage centers on identity, tradition, and preparing for one of life’s most meaningful milestones.

Sun Sinai Religious School (K–7th grade)
Sun Sinai is the Sunday School program for K–7th graders at Temple Sinai of North Dade, meeting each Sunday from 10am–12pm and for special celebrations throughout the school year. The program helps Jewish kids shine through meaningful religious education, community connection, and experiences that bring Jewish identity, tradition, and celebration to life. Students explore Hebrew, holidays, and Jewish identity through interactive and relationship-driven learning. The experience is designed to foster a lasting connection to Judaism and community.

B’nai Mitzvah Club (6th–7th grade)
B’nai Mitzvah Club is designed for 6th–7th graders and their families to make Bar/Bat Mitzvah meaningful. This program is an important part of the Jewish learning journey, supporting students and families as they prepare for one of the most significant milestones in Jewish life. Through structured learning and mentorship, students build confidence in their skills and understanding of the milestone. The process emphasizes both personal growth and meaningful connection to tradition.

Teen Mitzvah Corps – Temple Sinai Teen Community (7th–12th grade)
The Teen Mitzvah Corps at Temple Sinai is a talented and dedicated group of teens in 8th–12th grade who are committed to making a difference in their world. Each month, teens identify a need in the community and take action, earning community service hours while building a record of leadership, service, and commitment. Teens are encouraged to take an active role in shaping their community and building meaningful relationships. The program fosters independence, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.

BBYO (8th–12th grade)
BBYO SINAI meets every two weeks on Thursday evenings and offers teens a place for fun experiences, new friends, leadership, service, advocacy, and Jewish connection. As part of a global Jewish youth movement with communities around the world, BBYO gives teens access to a broader network while helping them shape their identity, build confidence, and take ownership of their Jewish future.
