50th Anniversary

If Only the Walls Could Talk . . . They Can and Will!

This year, we celebrate the 50^thanniversary of our sanctuary and social hall building. For the past 50 years, we have worshipped, learned, and celebrated together. Our ECE, Religious School, and Day School students have sang on Shabbat, celebrated Israel, and paraded during Purim and Simchat Torah. Our young adults became B’nai Mitzvah, Confirmands, and SNFTY leaders. As adults, we sang in the choir, listened to speakers, played games, gave tzedakah, and did the business of our congregation. You have been a part of those moments in Temple Sinai’s history. Share them again with us.
 

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of our sanctuary and social hall building, we are asking you to submit photos, stories, and specific events that occurred on our campus and, in particular, in our sanctuary or social hall. These will be displayed on the walls on our sanctuary (see below example) as part of a three-month-long exhibit, as well as be permanently included in a one-of-a-kind commemorative book at Temple Sinai. Our exhibit will be unveiled at a special 50th Anniversary and Erev Shavuot Celebration on May 28, 2020.

Submit Photographs:

Any photos of campus, although we are particularly interested in photos of sanctuary/social hall. All photos will be labeled on the front of the photo with name(s) and date and event, if known. TSND will retain all photos that we print. Photos can be submitted in any size digitally or in person for us to scan and return. Please use the form below. You may submit as many photos as you would like.
