Life is a journey. For more than 50 years the generations of Temple Sinai partners have held fast to the Torah and planted many “Trees of Life and Learning” along their path to spiritual joy and fulfillment.
Throughout their journey, generations of Temple Sinai partners have created an outstanding place of worship and study, a place to celebrate simchas, and a place of great comfort in difficult times. Our doors are always open.

KEMELHOR CHAPEL - 6:00 PMWhile our regular Family Erev Shabbat service usually takes place outside, July is a bit hot for that. This Family Shabbat service will take place in the Kemelhor Chapel with a pot-luck dinner to follow. This is a come-as-you-are Shabbat Service led by Cantor Michael Kruk, Rabbi David N. Young, and David Prashker. Acoustic guitar and hand drums accentuate the service with enough energy to entertain the young, and enough substance to worship with the young-at-heart. This is the only Shabbat service of the evening. Please bring a food item according to the first letter of your last name (prepare food for 8-10 people): A-F: Side or Salad; G-L: Drinks; M-S: Dessert (no nuts, please!); T-Z: Main Course. This is a participatory service; we have lots of instruments to share. If you or your child/ren have your own instruments(tambourine, drum, maracas, etc), please bring them with you and feel free to join in. If you would like to take part in the service, contact Rabbi Young (rabbi.young@tsnd.org) for a speaking part. Hope to see everyone there. |
